The Story of Pacific Fruit

A journey of more than 10 years of innovation in purées and Peruvian fruits.

The Larco and Del Busto families founded Aseptic Peruvian Fruit S.A. and created the Pacific Fruit brand in 2015. Below is a glimpse of our fruitful and inspiring history with Peruvian fruits.

2015

Our president Ignacio Larco plants the first seed of what would become the production plant in Asia, Cañete, Lima – Peru.

The adventure of development and innovation of our Peruvian fruits begins in our 1,500 m² plant, and our nursery is inaugurated next to the factory as a source of genetics for small and medium farmers.

The plant nursery next to the factory is officially inaugurated.

First Expoalimentaria trade fair, where we received an award for our product thanks to the innovation of our aseptic fruit pulp process.

2017

First participation in the international Anuga trade fair, with the presence of our President Ignacio Larco and our CEO Vittorio Larco.

We obtain the BRC certification, which confirms our commitment to food safety.

First export operation, sending mango products to Chile.

Entry into the U.S. market, participating in the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.

Participation in the Juice Summit, meeting with leaders of the European juice industry in Antwerp, Belgium.

First production of aseptic ginger, together with the establishment of the first productive ginger supply chain in Pichanaki.

Creation of a seed nursery to promote and improve fruit genetics for farmers.

Installation of a second production line for high-viscosity products and HORECA presentations.

Expansion of our plant to 4,000 m² and installation of our second aseptic processing line for viscous products.

Launch of our 1 kg presentation for the HORECA / Foodservice channel.

The only South American company present at the SIRHA trade fair in Lyon, France, presenting our 1 kg fruit purées.

Our CEO Vittorio Larco was awarded Business Leader of Change by EY and the newspaper El Comercio.
